With these verses begins one of the most beautiful songs of the eternal "Ternurinha", a true ode to love at first sight. How many times do we not see a person and feel an instant connection with them? Some people say they've never felt it... well, I have! You meet someone and, suddenly, out of the blue, you feel such an affinity with them, as if you've known them all your life. And then she marks you in such a way that you start thinking about her at all times, you want to stay by her side at all times. When the feeling is mutual, ah, how wonderful. We feel like we are in paradise. We have found our beloved and we are at his side. The sky becomes more beautiful, the stars gain a new shine, the moon becomes our confidant. And the world is, for us, an enchanted kingdom where all that reigns is love... yes, because we were graced with the most beautiful gift of all... Cupid's arrows, blessed by the hands of his mother Aphrodite, goddess eternal love, reached two hearts and connected them with the simplest of all feelings...


Well, Cupid's aim is not always accurate... sometimes his enchanted arrows only hit one of the chosen targets, either because he really missed his shot or because he decided to play with someone's heart... yes, because Cupid is capricious, and sometimes likes to provoke passion in just one of the halves of the orange, so to speak... and then, we have unrequited love, the overwhelming desire for someone who doesn't even know of our existence. Sad, isn't it? But that's life... not always what we want is within our reach...


I'm talking about love for a person, but in fact this can be applied to all situations in life. Desire can be carnal, when we have a fixation on a person, but it can also be material... that is, we have an uncontrollable need to have something that seems essential to us... no matter what it is. A new pair of shoes... that dress that we saw in the window and that we thought was the most divine thing in the world... the car that passed us on the corner... yes, we can "fall in love" with the most diverse things possible . Well, at least when we fall in love with objects we won't have the problem of rejection...


Of course, it's not the same thing... the passion for a person is different from the desire for a material good, an object... but the feeling of euphoria when we manage to achieve what we want, be it a person's love or possession of something that we really want, at first it is very similar. As well as frustration, when our intention is not achieved. Whether it's that super fancy bag we used to make out with in the window, or that handsome brunette that aroused our desire when we passed each other in the parks of life, if you're with us... well, I can only say "how wonderful"! The feeling of being in heaven is unique. The embrace of our love is something that nothing in the world can compare to... just like the acquisition of that bag gives us such a good feeling...


But, if everything is a dream, if everything is an illusion... well, then we will feel a very strong feeling of helplessness, as if the whole world was against us... either because our bank account could not grant us the object of our desire, either because our intended already has another person living in his heart, the bitter feeling of defeat will accompany us for some time... until the naughty son of the goddess of Love decides to play with our heart again... and then it starts all over again...


It's seven hours and twenty-six minutes into this beautiful Wednesday, where the thermometers show 22ºC, with the possibility of reaching 30ºC, or rain... well, if it rains, the temperature should drop a little...


May God grant us the most beautiful Wednesday we have ever experienced and protect us from unrequited love... may He always illuminate our path and pour His Divine Blessing on our heads, granting us wisdom to discern the path of good and turn away from evil...

IDENTIDADE

  IDENTIDADE Talvez a maior dificuldade do ser humano seja sentir-se parte de algo. Sua luta maior é interna. E por que? Simples… ele precisa pertencer a algum núcleo que o acolha.
